Ars is about 45 minutes drive from St.Jean d'Angély, 25 minutes from Saintes and 20 minutes from Pons, all of which are exits from the Autoroute A10.

To find Moulin Vieux from Cognac, take the road by Martell signposted Bordeaux, Pons, Merpins. Shortly after leaving Cognac, a road on the left is signposted Ars (this will take you past Rémy Martin). At the next junction, turn right and follow the signs to "S. JERRY" which will take you over the four hump-back bridges which cross the River Né. Rue du Moulin Vieux is on your left, 300m after the village sign for Ars. If you like road numbers, then the ones to look out for are D732, D47 & D147.
